Where does Placed ApS collect data from?
- Via our website at www.placed.dk
- or as a result of you responding to an advertisement posted by us on a job board, online CV bank or via social media
- From matching your CV, as uploaded by you onto a job board, online CV bank or a social media site such as LinkedIn, to a vacancy we are seeking to fill for one of our clients
- As a result of personal recommendations or from company websites
- From providing recruitment, resourcing, outsourcing or consultancy services to you
Purpose of collecting your data
At Placed ApS we help our clients find, attract and place candidates in their respective companies. To drive the recruitment process it is necessary for us to collect different data about you as a client or candidate.
Client:
If you are a potential client or existing client, we collect and process your data in order to provide you with the best possible service and search process (with the purpose and aim to enter a contract).
The data we collect and process is data around your professional contacts, personal identity, general business information, information around our relations and communication.
The legal basis is according to GDPR article 6, 1, b.
Candidate:
Placed ApS aims to collect the minimum amount of data we need to drive a successful process ending with a candidate placement.
When you are a candidate or a potential candidate, we collect information to be able to match you against the job criterias and other requirements in the job or to general job opportunities and companies. The purpose and end-goal is that our client and you will enter an employment contract.
We are collecting and processing data about your identity, contact and professional data, motivation, salary, such as your CV with name, email, phone, address and work experience. We will also sometimes collect information about your preferences for future roles, company preferences, industry, commute, and pay. The legal basis for this is according to GDPR article 6, 1, a.
When sharing your CV and other personal info with us, you give us your consent to share this information with clients and potential clients, as it is in your interest to become a candidate for the specific opportunity or company.
When taking references from former employers, managers, peers, colleagues, clients or team members we will ask for your consent before taking them.
It may occur that we use psychometric and cognitive assessment tools in our recruitment process, and will be handling personal data given from those. These assessments will be provided from a third party and the legal basis is your consent according to GDPR article 6, 1, a.
Placed ApS is a company with strong believe and commitment too equal opportunites, meaning that we pledge to not discriminate against candidates based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, health or genetic information, hence these information will not be collected and stored.
For how long will we keep your data:
We will only keep your data as long as it is relevant to us and our ongoing engagements in various recruitment processes. However your information will maximum be stored for a period of up to 24 months.
General consent
By submitting your personal information to Placed ApS, and Placed Consultants, via email, LinkedIn or other physical or digital methods, you give us your consent to the use of your information as described in this privacy statement. If you don't give us consent, the consequence is that we can’t have you in process as a candidate.
Your rights as data subject
You have the right to request that Placed ApS:
- Provide access to any personal information we have about you
- Update any of your personal information which is out of date or incorrect
- Delete any personal information we have on you
- Restrict the way that we process your personal information
- provide you with a copy of any personal information which we hold about you or consider any valid objections which you have to our use of your personal information
We will consider all such requests and provide our response within a reasonable period (but always within the boundaries set by applicable law).
Please note, however, that certain personal information may be exempt from such requests in certain circumstances.
